Wayne was appointed Manager of our Bushfire Section in 2003. He has in excess of 15 years experience in both practical and theoretical terms within the sphere of bushfire hazard assessment, application of bushfire mitigation measures and large-scale operational control of bushfires serving as an Officer of the NSW Rural Fire Service. Wayne has additional credentials in analytical chemistry and has further experience in production machinery, staff training and fluid hydraulics.

Wayne has completed a course of ‘Middle Management Development’ from the University of NSW and was also best graduating student for Certificate IV in Fire Technology 2005 (with Distinction). He has also completed the Graduate Diploma in Bushfire Design at UWS and has been accepted into the Institute of Fire Engineering at Graduate level.

Part of Wayne’s day to day activities is to ensure the Company’s quality control of its documentation that is, to verify the accuracy of bushfire assessment reports and is responsible to both monitor and mentor the staff under his direct control.

Wayne is also a member of the Berowra Waters Rural Fire Brigade and past member and Deputy Captain and President of the Berowra Rural Fire Brigade.
